A modern solution for carpentry companies

The BeamCenter Expert Machining Center with a beam table is a solution designed and created in response to the requirements set in the furniture industry as well as in all kinds of door and stair joinery. The structure is based on a solid steel body, welded and annealed, which can be made to any length of the working field. The machine gate made of high-quality steel using composite materials allows for high dynamics and speed while maintaining stability, which allows for obtaining the highest quality of final elements and excellent production efficiency. Special construction and modern safety systems allow access to the machine during processing without risk to the operator. The tool magazine (16 positions) located in the gate structure allows for immediate tool change during head movements. Additionally, the center is equipped with 2 linear magazines, which will allow for effective work even in various machining strategies.

Construction

Our original structural design is distinguished by highly efficient kinematic parameters. Solid steel, welded and ribbed structure, machined from one mounting, ensures precise machining even with dynamic movements and high speeds. Both the bed and the running elements are stress-relieved and machined on advanced large-format milling centers, which guarantees long-term stability and dimensional precision of the machine.

The machine table is equipped with universal, sliding, vacuum beams from Schmalz. Schmalz is a leader in the design and production of beams for gripping and vacuum holding of workpieces. The use of these elements in the structure of the machine table ensures full repeatability, universality and excellent precision when processing details.

Vacuum and mechanical blocks and positioners are mounted on the sliding beams, which facilitate the precise positioning and installation of materials to be processed. This is an innovative solution in the field of vacuum technology in the wood industry, enabling efficient transfer and fastening of flat wooden boards, furniture boards, stair elements, and details used in the window and door industry on CNC machining centers. Thanks to vacuum clamping technology, workpieces are held securely in place, allowing processing without the need to modify the machine. The Schmalz two-circuit beam system (2-Circuit Systems) allows for the initial fixing of material on the console without the use of vacuum pressure. The center is equipped with a conveyor belt for removing dust and chips, among others, and also has extraction feet for effective dust removal. The first pneumatic one located around the electrospindle, providing support for tools (cutters) and angular units. The second extraction foot is designed to handle vertical drills, horizontal drills and two notation balls. Control

We achieved high functionality of the Beam Machining Center thanks to the implemented industrial control unit. Professional CNC control integrated with the LAN allows active communication with key components. The EtherCat protocol enables ultra-fast, bidirectional communication with sampling times of less than 1 ms. A multi-axis real-time interpolator that actively predicts the trajectory of movements also in HPM and HSM modes minimizes the tracking error, which has a key impact on the dynamics, smoothness and precision of work. The integrated CAD/CAM environment allows for quick editing of designs directly on the control unit, increasing operational flexibility.
