ProNest+ machining center

The ProNest+ automated nesting center is dedicated to the furniture industry, in particular to manufacturers of box and upholstered furniture, but it will also be used in other industries. This is an advanced device equipped with a plate feeding and receiving system. This is an ideal solution for cutting and vertical and horizontal drilling in wood-based boards and other materials.

The machine was awarded theGold Medalof the DREMA Fair in Poznań. It has an “Innovation Opinion”, which allows for co-financing of the purchase from EU funds.

Automation of production processes

The standard configuration of the machine includes a working area measuring 2100 mm by 3100 mm, accommodating popular sizes of furniture boards, eliminating the need for additional material preparation. There is also the possibility of processing other predefined material sizes, which increases the versatility of the machine’s applications.

One of the key innovative solutions in the ProNest+ is the feed table utilizing a pushing system, which allows for the automatic sliding of one to three boards simultaneously. Thanks to the implementation of vacuum clamping elements and pressure rollers, it is possible to perform milling and drilling operations on three boards at the same time. This solution significantly speeds up production processes, reduces labor costs, decreases electricity consumption, and automates the entire production process.

The machine features an automatic labeling system. It is used for marking details with barcodes, labels, or information in the form of graphics or text, as well as for automatically retrieving the finished label by the machine and placing it on the specified detail. The label can be read using a scanner.

The automatic labeling system is mounted on a separate mobile support above the feed table. This design allows for labeling elements directly on the board before it is fed to the machining table. Labeling is performed independently during the machining process, which does not extend the process. With this solution, we not only speed up work but also minimize operator errors and increase production automation by simultaneously milling and labeling details.

The ProNest+ machine also incorporates material positioning systems that enable precise referencing. The automatic pressure rollers ensure proper material clamping, increasing accuracy and working speed even when processing three boards at once.

Production automation with the ProNest+ machining center guarantees increased productivity and work efficiency. The machine is operated by a single operator, and thanks to the use of an automated design and its components, it allows for the uninterrupted processing of an entire pallet of boards in storage.

Processes that previously took a lot of time and engaged a large number of human resources can now be completed more quickly and efficiently, optimizing production while reducing its costs.

Our proprietary design project stands out with high-performance kinematic parameters. The robust steel structure, welded and ribbed, is machined from a single setup, ensuring precise machining even under dynamic movements and high speeds. Control

Industrial, professional CNC control integrated with a LAN network allows for active communication with key components. The EtherCAT protocol enables ultra-fast, bidirectional communication with a sampling time of less than 1 ms. The real-time multi-axis interpolator actively predicts motion trajectories, even in HPM and HSM modes, minimizing tracking errors and resulting in dynamic, smooth, and precise operation. The integrated CAD/CAM environment allows for easy project editing directly on the control unit, increasing operational flexibility.
